This is a wonderful project! I have seen a couple blocks and your site is nice to provide a map and directions. I live in TN and my father is buried in Union. My grandmother Roles and great-grandmother McPeak were avid quilters.

The quilts are such a great addition to this county...which is by far the coolest county in WV!

I had the pleasure of driving thru your lovely county today and got to see a sample of the blocks. Stumbled across your web site while doing a search for quilt trails on google. I look forward to seeing them all.

Mollie & Jane, sorry for the delay in posting your comments - I thought I had it set that I didn't need to individually approve guestbook entries, but apparently I still need to learn more about websiting! Thanks much for your time in posting!

Beautiful blocks. Look forward to the day when all our WV county quilt trails can connect.

I'm originally from Princeton, WV, Mercer County but have lived in Alabama fro 34 years since 1977. I'm an avid quilter and came across your website by chance. I hope to one day see these barn quilts but alas I don't get back to WV often enough. I'm going back in Aug. 2011 for my 40th High School Reunion! Please keep the site current for us out of staters. I'll pass the word among my quilting friends and bloggers. Blessings Jane Shrewsbury Hillis Please visit my blog for quilting and other info http://grandmamasstories.blogspot.com

Being from Monroe County and having a grandmother that quilted - I think this project is a prefect fit. At times when my work takes me back into Monroe I love seeing these and look forward to more. Great Project!
